Design & Simulation

We offer design and simulation services for electronic applications, including RF & microwave subsystems, power and signal integrity simulation for high speed digital designs and thermal analysis of electronic systems.

Our engineering team has a strong background in RF, microwave and digital electronics design by taking advantage of the most advanced simulation tools (such as CST Microwave Studio or ADS).

Our state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities include the latest generation of SMT assembly lines with the capability of mounting bare MMIC dies using pillar bump technology.

Test & Characterization

Maxwell develops full turn-key services to customers that include test, characterization and verification processes of electronic systems in state-of-the-art facilities.

We perform a broad range of product testing processes: from electromagnetic compatibility, or electrical safety to testing operating temperatures, resistance and humidity. We also carry out aging tests in extreme environments using a salinity chamber that replicates marine environments, or a vibration room to simulate the impact of adverse conditions on the product.

RF & Microwave Systems

Design of a broad variety of antennas, (from dipoles, patches, reflectors, log-periodics to electronic beam steering phase arrays), amplification systems (from Low Noise amplifiers to Power amplifiers exploiting state-of-the-art technologies such as Asymmetric Doherty amplifiers), passive components (filters, couplers, multiplexers…), integrated assemblies as well as custom MMIC design in III-V technologies.

Electronic boards and digital systems, including high speed digital circuits

Our expertise is mainly focused on Signal Integrity, Power Integrity and EMI simulation and analysis of integrated circuits and printed circuit boards (PCBs).

We also perform design and simulation of digital communication systems, including a wide variety of signal processing blocks such as digital filters, adaptive systems, digital modulators or digital automatic gain controls.

Maxwell is also specialized in the development of digital systems on high performance FPGAs and high speed DACs/ADCs using VHDL and Verilog languages.

Electronics thermal analysis

We provide heat transfer and fluid flow simulations for optimal thermal design of integrated circuits, PCBs and electronic subsystems by exploiting most advanced CFD techniques. Our aim is to provide efficient electronic cooling solutions to achieve best in class system performance.
